Goal!!!!!!!

On Easter Sunday princess and I got tickets to the Olympic Qualifying game.
The teams were U.S., Canada, Guatemala, and Honduras.

When we arrived we witnessed Canada win the 1st game by a penalty kick.
The 2nd game was where all the action was. The place where I live has a large Hispanic community. The Honduran supporters were in full force. They had their faces painted, snare drums, flags draped around their backs, and anything else to show their pride.

Among other things the game was in the middle of March. We assumed it would be warm, WRONG. The temp was in the mid 50s with lots of wind and very little sun. Princess managed to keep warm with her cap. I had to fight with her to keep it on. Because she had her hair specially done for Easter and wanted to show off.

Suddenly we got hungry. I already smuggled in snacks. So we ordered hotdog and hot chocolate. Princess loved the game and the rowdy crowd.

I think I caught her a few times cheering for Honduras.
